The Shock Companion Label increases awareness that the package is being monitored. The companion label is used with the Impact-O-Graph shock indicator labels. If a high impact occurs, the label provides instructions on receiving damaged shipments. Above all, the companion label has a highly visible red arrow pointing to the shock indicator label. It says if the indicator is red, the contents should be inspected. When the shock indicator impact turns red, it means impact to the box exceeded the designated g force level of the Shock Label. As a result, there could be potential hidden damage.
